Writing a survey is only the first step in running your survey. Each survey is always in one of a number of 'modes' or 'states':
- Edit
This is the initial mode for a new survey, and the one we've been talking about so far in this overview. - Translate
Once a survey has been written you can optionally provide translations into other languages. A translation is a
copy of the original survey in which only the copy can be changed. Translations are described on the next page. - Run
The main operational mode for a survey - in this mode the audience can complete the survey and results are collected - Closed
You can close a survey at any time when it's running. When closed no further individuals can complete the survey. You can re-open the survey at any time.
